What to expect from the Organised Zone

Initial Conversation

Once you have contacted us,  we will have an initial, free no obligation conversation to discuss your vision and goals and how The Organised Zone can help you. Everyone has different needs and expectations and we like to spend time to discuss any trouble zones, understand your overall expectations and the lifestyle you lead.

In the conversation, we will outline how we will be able to work together and answer any questions or concerns you might have. Furthermore, we will discuss the expected timeframe for the project, the overall process and expected costs.

We are able to conduct sessions in person or virtually and we will discuss what works best for you in relation to your goals, availability and timeframes.

Once you are happy we will book a session at a convenient time, in person or online, and this will be followed up in writing with all the relevant Terms.

During a Session

Sessions may be in person or virtual to suit you but the principles of each are the same.

At the start of any session, we will catch up over your expectations and see how your zone and home functions - so please don't tidy beforehand!

We will work together to go through your items and decide which items you wish to keep and then help organise your possessions in a way that will work for you and your lifestyle. You may wish to consider new storage options, of which we can advise, plus help plan and purchase, but we will always discuss budget and consider items you currently have to be used as solutions.

We are able to work alone or alongside you, whichever you prefer, but we will never dispose of (or ask you to dispose of) items without your agreement and therefore it is most helpful for you to be present during a declutter session.

We will be able to discuss and support the best way of dealing with your unwanted items, including selling or donating to charity. The Organised Zone always supports sustainable solutions to avoid landfill where possible.

The service  provided by the The Organised Zone is non judgmental and always in full confidence.  We will work together at a rate that you feel comfortable as we fully understand that decluttering is an emotional journey.

Follow up

Following a session, or completion of a project, we will always be back in touch to see how the new systems are working and offer further practical support. We want to ensure the zone is working for you!

We trust you will love our work and of course will be on hand to support you on an ongoing basis whether this be through regular maintenance of your zones, particularly with children's toys and wardrobes, or look to tackle new areas in your home, business or personal life.
